There are certain people who have a powerful presence about them that the experience can not be explained. Their presence can only be felt. So when I heard Dr. Maya Angelou was speaking at the Riverside Church I knew this was one of those unique experiences. That night, as she spoke and her beautiful voice echoed in the vast Riverside Church, everyone could do nothing but feel her words. I sat there absorbing not only the emotions of Maya Angelou, but also absorbing the reaction of the audience that seemed to share one heart for those precious minutes.
